What’s really behind the Scales?

I jump out of bed and run to work every morning because of the plethora of opportunities to learn.   Today was another great example.  If you are in the machining world you know what glass scales are but do you really know what they are?   I had the pleasure of spending some time with an expert rebuilding the scales on our Toshiba R18 today.  I am always excited to meet someone that has been honing their skills for decades and are passionate and excited to teach.  The older I get the more I appreciate these interactions.  If you need help with your scales give Staehle Precision Corporation (Dan) a call 414-315-3436.
