What information do I need to provide to get a quote?
What information do I need to provide to get a quote?
We would like drawings of your part, 3D models if available, machine make and model, and any process information you have. It would also be helpful to know how many fixtures you are interested in, and if you prefer hydraulic or manual clamping.
What software do you use?
What software do you use?
We use SolidWorks to design our fixtures and MasterCam to program our machines in our shop from our solid models.

Do you test your fixtures before shipping them?
We test every fixture (even duplicates) for hydraulic pressure, repetitive cycle test, deflection test, CMM test, and load test as a part of our quality control process. We invite our customer to test load the fixtures and require parts to test every fixture before shipping.
Do you build your fixtures from Castings or Weldments?
Do you build your fixtures from Castings or Weldments?
Due to superior design characteristics, we make the majority of our fixtures from castings. We can achieve a better end product with casting by reducing harmonics in your process, design to near-net shape for better rigidity, reduce machined components and remove weight, and external plumbing. There are also times where a boltment or weldment provide the characteristics needed for the job. In the end, we work with our customers to ensure we are providing the right solution for their project.
What are your lead times for fixtures?
What are your lead times for fixtures?
Lead times vary based on current workloads and complexity but will generally be between 8 and 14 weeks.
What are your lead times for quotes?
What are your lead times for quotes?
Lead times vary based on current workloads and complexity, but we can usually provide a simple quote within a few days. 3D concepts will require more time, depending upon design complexity.
Can I add air seating or clamp arm confirmation to my fixture?
Can I add air seating or clamp arm confirmation to my fixture?
We can provide air seating and/or clamp arm confirmation options on any fixture that has low-pressure air provided to the fixture.
What processes do you perform in house?
