CNC Fixture Service

Routine maintenance is essential to keep systems and components operating at peak performance through millions of cycles. All DMT fixturing shipments are accompanied with a customized list of recommended spare parts. DMT partners with numerous customers to preemptively replace wear components and evaluate each fixture in our facility or yours. With years of experience in all manufacturing conditions, the team can provide a variety of maintenance and repair services.

Workholding Fixture Maintenance Services Include:

  • On-site support for new fixture installations and validation
  • Troubleshooting and support of existing processes—both proprietary and non-DMT fixtures
  • Full fixture PM services including fixture recertification back to factory specifications
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspection
  • Machine crashes, fixture repair, and fixture rebuilds
  • Parts and systems repair and maintenance
  • Reverse engineering of competitive replacement parts

Mobile Resolution

DMT’s team can often resolve a fixture issue over the phone. In fact, ~75% of the service-related calls we receive we are able to resolve in minutes. We can diagnose the issue and make a settings recommendations in real time. These troubleshooting sessions often cover issues that are not necessarily related to the fixture but to the machine, tooling, hydraulic power supply, or other process-related elements. We break down the issue and get you back up and running ASAP. Of course, if we do need to get a technician on your floor, our team can be on a plane or in a car and to your location in a matter of hours.

On-Site Service

Human error or machine malfunction-related crashes are frustrating and time consuming. DMT is committed to leading you through this process to minimize the downtime cost and delays. In most cases our recommended spare parts will be able to quickly address these events. In the rare case that the damage is greater than our suggested spares, we will expedite any replacement parts needed to get you back up and running.

Fixture Retrofits & Preventative Maintenance

The DMT WORKHOLDING Service Team provides a complete suite of preventative maintenance and fixture retrofitting services. We can deliver full PM and rebuild services for DMT built fixtures and competitive branded fixtures as well. We can provide service on site or in our service facility.
