One of our machine OEM partners needed two of these trunnion style 4th axis fixtures. Our design included numerous elements that provide feedback to the machine. Specifically they have part seating confirmation to verify they were loaded correctly and swing clamp position verification to ensure the clamps functioned as designed to stop robot collision. This fixture was also designed to be easily removed from the machine with no plumbing to disconnect due to the use of auto couplers for both the air and oil supply.
