Weight can be the enemy of rigid work holding.  This is an example of some of the creativity that comes from the DMT design team to combat weight.  With a cored center and extensive weight saving geometry throughout the design we achieved the weight goals for this customer.  Faster machines and the desire to fit as much into a small envelope as possible we are doing everything we can to shave off every pound of the workholding.
